Dosage:

• The typical starting dose of Trulicity is 0.75 mg once a week.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Trulicity may cause pancreatitis. Seek medical attention if you experience severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting.
• Dehydration can worsen kidney function. Stay hydrated and inform your doctor of any changes in urination or swelling.
• Trulicity can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, especially when starting treatment.
• • Rapid blood sugar control may worsen diabetic retinopathy. Regular eye exams are recommended.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you experience difficulty breathing or swelling of the face or throat.
  • Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

  Usage Instructions:

  • Inject Trulicity once a week, on the same day each week
  • It can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food
  • Administer the injection subcutaneously (under the skin) in the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm
  • Rotate injection sites to avoid skin irritation
  • Do not reuse needles; use a new needle for each injection

  Storage Information:

  • Store Trulicity in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C)
  • If needed, Trulicity can be kept at room temperature (up to 86°F or 30°C) for up to 14 days before using
  • Do not freeze the medication
  • Keep the medication out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children

  Common Side Effects:

  • Nausea is a common side effect that may occur when starting Trulicity.
  • Some people may experience diarrhea.
  • Vomiting can occur, especially in the early stages of treatment.
